Produced in 3.5 weeks in conjunction with PictoryTale AS in Norway this international co production features 3 bespoke Immersive Augmented Reality place-making projects connecting the Darwin Waterfront, with the Deck Chair Cinema and Anzac Oval.
Featuring “Australian Film Crawl” which traces the history of Australian Cinema along Jevois park, the project was launched as part of the Darwin International Film Festival 2021 which included a Q&A with director Hawk Gundersen.
Featuring “Australian Film Crawl” which traces the history of Australian Cinema reviewing iconic Australia films including:
Australia, Crocodile Dundee, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Ten Canoes, Samson & Deliah, BMX Bandits
And a special tribute to David Gulpil.
The films featured along Jevois park and the project was launched as part of the Darwin International Film Festival 2021 which included a Q&A with director Hawk Gundersen.
This 9-part guided tour was created in-studio and installed along the waterfront using Volories. Festival attendees enjoyed this beautiful, outdoor immersive film history experience, second only to the internationally beloved Deckchair Cinema!
